The Bliss Dictionary includes translations and explanations derived from dictionary data provided by Blissymbolics Communication International (BCI).

BCI’s dictionary resources are available at blissymbolics.org.

Modifications

The dictionary includes modifications to BCI dictionary data, such as spelling fixes, formatting adjustments, and clarification of explanations.

Licence

To the extent that content on this site constitutes an adaptation of BCI dictionary data, those adaptations are made available under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0).

The use of this data to generate text or documents does not, by itself, subject the resulting user-created content to this licence.

Bliss SVG Builder

The Bliss symbols on this site are rendered using bliss-svg-builder, a JavaScript library for generating Bliss characters as SVG, licensed under MPL-2.0. It is free to use in both open-source and proprietary projects.

Bliss File Exports

The downloadable Bliss image files (SVG and PNG) are independently generated by bliss-svg-builder and are not derived from BCI image files. They are free to use without restriction.
